Most of our components end up in the dirt sooner or later. The key is to keep them from destroying themselves when they get there. NEM LLC machines castings and steel components for several major OEM’s in Agriculture, Construction, Infrastructure, Rail, and Refuse. Customers who choose to use us as Tier One allow us to handle the logistics of castings from pour to paint.
Agriculture
In order to successfully compete in today’s agriculture industry you need to be up to date with the most modern tooling, fixturing techniques and material removal rates. The higher production volume uniquely positions NEM and allows us to pass on the advantages of our strong balance sheet and low overhead operation to all of our customers. |
Construction
Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) has become a staple for OEM engineers. Our knowledge and experience working with ADI give us an edge over our competition as the market shifts to continually improve the life of the parts in the field. If it has tracks and ends up in the dirt, we will machine it. |
Infrastructure
Everybody is plugged in! The world is getting blanketed with cables and wires so all its citizens can be connected. The internet of things (loT) is expanding and so are we. Our customers count on us to perform and expand with them as new underground cable is installed across the country. The trenchers you see on the side of the road digging up ditches have our parts in them. |
Rail
Buy America FTA funded projects require 100% of the components, supplies and construction materials to be made in the US. NEM is currently machining components for the ever expanding domestic rail market. Similar to our utility components, rail is becoming a big player and is luring major OEMs to this country. We are here ready to pursue this growth and have developed strategic partnerships to do so. |
Refuse
We see garbage as more than useless waste that ends up in the landfill. The push to go green and recycle everything requires more trucks on the road. The problem with more trucks is you need more sanitation workers to fill the positions. Technology and automation has made this easier to do by placing less stress on the worker. So do the parts we machine. |
